I feel that.

Have you ever dedicated some much of your time and energy into something, only to have it fail? It is such a disappointing feeling. It's like all that time, energy, and dedication was for nothing. And it really doesn't matter what it was that you were working so hard towards, that feeling of failure radiates throughout your entire being just the same. It's a difficult feeling to shake off. It leaves you questioning your abilities and doubt slowly creeps in.

Doubt, the killer of hope and dreams. It'll leave you in a constant state of uncertainty and fear with its persistent whispers of past failures that echo through your mind. "Don't do this or that, you failed before, so you'll fail again.". That inevitable feeling that failure is imminent and steals all your ambition and hope. So much so that you begin to question your own worthiness and value.

I feel that. I know that feeling all too well. For years I lived in this state of disappointment and doubt. And I promise you, it is not a place where you want to live. It's an extremely difficult hole to climb out of. You begin to make progress towards the top only to stumble back down to where you started. That feeling of disappointment settles in, and the cycle of doubt and fear continues, over and over and over again. That never ending cycle takes hold and becomes your life.

That life stealing cycle can be broken. It's not easy and requires an enormous amount of courage and strength. You'll have to dig deep within yourself and confront your fears with an unwavering determination and bravery. You'll need to combat doubt with positive reminders of your worth and value. But the hardest part of this battle will be learning to completely and thoroughly trust yourself because ultimately, that is what this cycle of doubt and fear robs you of, self-trust.

Learning to trust yourself is the most important work that you will ever do. And I know, it is so hard. Probably the most difficult thing you will ever do but, it is the most rewarding and best gift you can ever give yourself and others. When you fully trust yourself, you don't doubt your abilities. You don't fear failure, doubt becomes a thing of the past, and all those disappointments will serve as valuable lessons and reminders of just how strong and resilient you truly are. You start to see disappointments as opportunities for growth and expansion. Your mind begins to come up with different solutions for overcoming difficult experiences and feelings. You'll cultivate an inner strength, and you finally become aware of this incredible superpower that was within you the entire time.

You become unstoppable. You are able to see things for what they truly are. You develop this deep understanding of yourself, and you honor it. You realize that all those past disappointments were nothing more than steppingstones along your path and that without them, you'd never be where you are today. You are grateful for the lessons they taught you and that they really weren't failures but rather challenges that you conquered. And with all those victories under your belt, you realize that your hope, strength, and determination was the prize for all those cycles you broke.

 Much Love, Kira
